Resource Scheduling apps new features - July 26, 2018
Hi! We are happy to share with you these new Scheduling features: data and indicator display, lag and dependency link constraints activation, contextual menu and items Information panel.
Data and indicator display
Workload Plans > Resources > Projects view.
You can select which data you want to display. Columns are resizable.
Lag and dependency link constraints activation
Arrows are colored in red when dependency link constraints are not respected.
The mouseover tooltip of the link displays relevent info to solve constraint.
Manually, you can move the job to respect a dependency link contraint : predecessor type (FF, FS, etc) and lag value. Note that you can also modify the lag value (In our screenshot: set the lag value to 1 day or less).
Arrowheads for jobs with predecessors
When a job has predecessors or successors arrowheads are added to the job display.
Right click contextual menu
On every cells of the timeline, on jobs or on phases, use the right click of your mouse to display the contextual menu.
Information panel for jobs and phases
Use the contextual menu and select the Information panel choice.
Overload, Job to allocate and Dependency indicators
These indicators are there to help planners to manage their work. They are available on Scheduling apps views depending on indicators, .
Top cell is underlined in red when there is at least one thing to do in a column.
